Mt.Kasagata is located about 30km north-northeast of Himeji city and is known as “Harima Fuji”.

Since ancient times, Mt.Kasagata has been worshiped by people as a mountain for Shugendo. At the foot of the mountain, there are historically valuable buildings and historic sites such as Kasagata-jinja shrine and Kasagata-tera temple.

At the time of the mejor repair of Himeji Castle in the Showa era, the sacred cypress tree of Kasagata-jinja shrine was cut down and became the western main pillar called “Tree of Destiny”.

At the foot of Mt.Kasagata, which created such a magnificent story, why don’t you experience an extraordinary space in the midst of nature where you can heal from daily fatigue while refreshing yourself with temple yoga, meditation(zazen), seasonal fruit picking, and other activities.
